Putting down the extra cash for a solid state disk in that shiny new laptop may not result in the geek nirvana we all expected. Now, that’s a nice looking beast! The Register is reporting that this will be available with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom and either £199 8Gb SSD Linux or £299 80Gb Windows XP. I’d certainly be buying the £199 version, bunging in a 32Gb SDHC card and installing XP and essential apps. This looks great value!
