Because I want to enhance the site I am changing providers and will soon be hosting at www.gadgetspot.org. The .co.uk will eventually rediect there.
I’ll be upping the number of posts and hopefully the differences will all be for the good! The changeover should take about a week.
See you there!

XBox Hard Drive 12.99, FREE Memory Cards from Microsoft. - HotUKDeals Forum
Great deals if you need to add some storage for your XBOX 360. Make sure you have your console serial number to hand.
One big benefit of having a hard drive on the 360, apart form saving games of course, is that it will remember where you were on DVDs and streaming AVI files which is great if you’re halfway through a film and need to turn off the console to continue watching later.

Toshiba Canada - mobile computing - notebooks - portégé notebooks - Portégé R600
Toshiba has released it’s update to the very nice R500, cunningly titled the R600. Feature for feature better than the Macbook Air, an obvious competitor (we can argue over the OS!) , but perhaps still not as elegant a design.
Me? I’d take the Tosh and may consider it in the future when I re-evaluate my mobile needs.

Blu-ray add-on coming to the Xbox 360? | Register Hardware
I think this is a great idea. I’ve been enjoying dozens of really cheap HD DVD movies via my 10 quid Amazon 360 HD DVD drive so might be a bit of a shock to the system to buy full price blu-rays, but I think this is a positive move for Microsoft (if true of course).

Does Windows Cloud equal Windows Strata? | Beyond Binary - A blog by Ina Fried - CNET News
Windows Strata eh? I’m actually looking forward to see what MS bring out. I believe that it doesn’t have to be one or the other when it comes to ‘cloud’ computing and that a great mix of desktop and cloud apps is the way to go to ensure productivity whatever your circumstances.
My two favourite cloud apps are Evernote and Live Mesh. I use Evernote constantly for taking notes or photos with which I can access on any net enabled device I own. Live Mesh keeps all my work docs accessible wherever and whenever, with sync’d local copies of files all nicely backed up online.

A new OS from Microsoft! Surely this will be an extention to Live Mesh?
